They are looking for a committed and professional individual to assist with the day-to-day operations of its IT department.

 

KEY DUTIES :

 

  • Duties will include owning incidents through to resolution, user support, user administration, customer liaison and site visits for technical cover work
  • 1st Line Support Engineer will resolve service calls as directed by the Service Desk
  • Provide technical assistance and report service issues in accordance with the Service Desk policies
  • Assist with project work as directed by the Technical Operations department

Essential Skills

 

  • Ability to work independently and maintain a high degree of self-motivation

  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • High proficiency in English; both spoken and written
  • Experienced using Windows Desktop 7 and 10
  • Experience with the following: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Office 365, Google G Suite, Virtualisation Technologies – VMware ESXi / Hyper-V

 

Desired Skills:

 

  • Experience of supporting education environments / MSP is advantageous
  • Own transport and driving licence
  • Windows Server 2008 and 2012/R2 and 216
